Royal Australian Air Force Badge

The Royal Australian Air Force badge features a crowned emblem and eagle in flight, reflecting courage, service and aviation heritage. It is traditionally accompanied by the motto Per Ardua Ad Astra — “Through Adversity to the Stars.”

Note: The Australian Government Department of Veterans’ Affairs requires formal approval before a service badge can be reproduced on a bronze plaque.
